BROCKLESEA BRANCH DETAILS

Originally a club layout, it was built as either an add on for an existing layout or as a stand alone. When the main layout was broken down to make way for a new one, Brocklesea was put up for sale. The layout was purchased as I’d always wanted to get into “N” gauge.

Brocklesea is a seaside terminus layout featuring a
small yard, branch line and a beach made of real sand. It
is off a main line set predominantly in the South of England, though anything may be run. The layout was originally built for the steam era, but is being modernised mostly with items from Hornby’s Lydle End range. All locos and rolling stock are ready to run apart from a TPM Class 60. The stock is gradually being weathered and detailed in
some way to look more presentable.

The layout requires 3 operators and is 6ft x 6ft outside L shape.
