GUESTBOOK

The Club has been meeting on a weekly basis since 1975 and at present we get together on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm at Brockenhurst Village Hall in Highwood Road off Sway Road.

Membership is open to all, whether you have experience of railway modeling or not.

The membership fee is £30 and is payable in 3 £10 installments during the year. You would be most welcome to come along for a few weeks to see if we are the right Club for you before deciding whether to join.

Junior membership is also available but we prefer youngsters to be accompanied at least until they can demonstrate an understanding of how to behave, especially around tools including power tools and soldering irons.

We model in 3 gauges, N, OO and O and have 7 layouts being continually modified and improved.

Why not take a trip in person to see how things are progressing. If you are planning to visit during July or August please contact us first.

We hold 2 public events during the year, the Annual Exhibition in May and the Club Open Day at the end of November / beginning of December.

The Exhibition is an opportunity for us to bring top class layouts to the area and have them exhibit for 2 days. The Open Day is more about showing the work of the Club and other invited local layouts.

We are pleased to say that both events are supported by the trade.

During each Annual Exhibition members can compete in the two classes of the Club Competition. Voting takes place on the Sunday morning before the public enter and the winners have the opportunity to polish the cups for a year after their presentation at the next AGM
